The Movie: "saved"

Well maybe me being a naive teenager wouldn't understand why someone with a strong faith would even be interested in seeing it.
I just see a better use of one's time. I honestly dont mind seeing hypocrisy poked at, but using sexuality in such a way makes me shudder. Too often in society is human sexuality abused, and no one wants to say anything about it....

Bugs me is all...

Question did the USCCB change the system? I thought the limit adult thing was like A-IV or something. But the fact they didn't give it an O is something.

My question is, would you really want to watch it anyway, even if you could handle it? From the clips I've seen and the reviews I've read, it looks stupid, just as a film itself.

listen if they are poking fun of "fake christians" then the sexual things in the movie go hand in hand. I know many quote unquote christians who particaipate is sexual acts constantly but still feel free to tell me or others who jesus what they believe how catholics arent saved etc. The fact that theres sexual content doesn't phase me...it strengthens the point of the movie. Sure they went overboard and used extreme cases...that is why it is a comedy...they are not using the movie to promote sex that should be obvious in the previews one sees about it on tv.

....Its simple why I wont see this film...

It pokes fun at human sexuality, and I dont care how jokingly they do it, the fact they do it at all offends me.

But I think in the movie, the people who are supposed to be the hypocrites (like the Mandy Moore character) aren't the ones doing all that bad stuff. It's the outcast character who is. And she seems to be the one portrayed in a "positive" light.

well you might have a point....but we havent seen it yet...I would assume she is played in a positive light because so many "christians" attack her, not because she engages in sexual activity.

I wish it were playing in Lubbuck...in all honesty it's prolly not because this is a heavily "Baptist" town.
