Look at all that trash, guys! Why on earth would you want to watch that?! I had to edit some of it because it was so bad; even in just a review of the movie!!

Voici thanks for showing your reasoning. Its weird because it totally contradicts what the Director has been saying all along.

dost thou trusteth this director?

the idea of hypocrisy in religion 9 times out of 10 in the culture includes the dealing with homosexuality, they consider it hypocrisy or dumb or wrong or whatever. silly culture, homosexuality's for the devil.

Yeah. I never thought it bashed Christianity, it just seemed trashy and full of sex. I don't mean to bash a movie that I've never seen, and I certainly don't mean to bash you guys for considering seeing it. I just think it seems trashy, and nobody needs to see anything that might pollute their soul!

sex/nudity

I walk outside

billboard in distance:
shows a little cleavage
promotion of beer

I look around
I see two guys kiss

guess I better stay inside from now on.

voiciblanche - no offense in all honesty. It is very good to know what you are about to put before your eyes. This movie will not cause me to lust and my intent in seeing it has nothing to do with anyything in the movie that entails sex. It's pg-13 I am 21 and sometimes we need to relax and enjoy some comedy.

well, for me, any mention of homosexuality by a secular source i'm staying away from, it'll drive me crazy.

Good point Voici, I never knew about these parts. It isnt out in my City yet, and when it does come out I'll see what the reviewer has to say about it before making my final decision.
dost thou trusteth this director?
Aloysius, you are very smart, but you haven't been able to back up your saying that it bashes Catholocism or even 'christianity'.

And in the end, I will trust the director until you actually go to the movie and can give me examples of how it bashes Catholic values. The only little bits of potential bashing of the faith that we can see without viewing the movie and only the trailer are "Of COURSE Jesus is WHITE" and the throwing of the Bible while stating "im FULL of Christs Love!".... neither of which are exactly ex Cathedra church teachings :P

Well, that's where I disagree with you. Of course you aren't going to act on what you see in this movie. If you went off and watched "Monster" I doubt you'd be motivated to go out and kill someone. Yet, it still pollutes. Every time you entertain yourself with things that have bad things in them, you're still polluting your soul. You may not be motivated to do these things, but it's going to start becoming so regular to you that you won't even care when others do it. Which is how we adopt the "love the sinner, let them sin" attitude. I understand that you simply want to "relax and enjoy some comedy," and I also understand that it's nearly impossible to find entertainment that doesn't have objective material in it. But when it's that extreme, I'm just asking you to give your entertainment methods a second thought.

what saying? i dropped that, i'm in open mic spouting off what i've heard.

i'm saying dost thou trusteth the director insomuch as he could be thrown off a cliff? do you know what he would define as "Christianity" and what he would define as "bashing it"? would "Christianity" be the followers of the secularized Christ who embraces active homosexuals and doesn't have the word "sin" in his vocabulary?

that is my simple question.

who told you i was smart?

that's sposeta be kept a secret till i'm king of Athanasia! :P

Well, we have been debating in the Debate Table, and up until you got fed up and ran away, you seemed pretty smart haha

And no I'm not saying this Director is the be all and end all of whats making fun, I'm just saying that until someone here who has seen the movie comments, I'll believe him.

Voici gave reasons and then backed them up, you are just going on heresay and that kind of seems imperious. you dont own Athanasia yet... hahah

I don't think the movie's intent is to promote sex, but to display a certain culture of our youth in a comedic way. I might be wrong...Im ok with going to see it (presently) and if I do I will make a final analysis.

I gave reasons and backed them...and was still bashed. And ridiculed. Aah, the young persecuted Church. I follow in the footsteps of my dear Angela.

Athanasia...it's gonna be a scary place, isn't it, Al?
