i would recommend the book called Joshua (there are several sequels too....Joshua and the children, etc) by Joseph Girzone

Joshua is a great book and a quick read with a very interesting perspective -- you get addicted!! :D

If you want fiction, I actually realllly liked the Da Vinci code. It was very interesting - but if you want to read it from a lets find faults or lets see if its actually wrong perspective you wont like it.

I'm reading a really neat book called 'Perfume' by Patrick Suskind, its about a murderer with a good sense of smell in Paris back in the 1800's.

How old are you? Narnia isa good choice because you can read through all 7 throughout the summer.

C.S. Lewis' The Space Trilogy
Any Josef Pieper (non-fiction, but good)
The Moviegoer by Walker Percy (haven't read it, but heard it's good)
Any Fulton Sheen (again, non-fiction, but good)
Dostoyevski's Brother's Karamazov
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
