Visa Issues

I need to change my current visa from tourist to student in order to conduct my research overseas. My appointment at the visa office is in two weeks, on 2 June. The bureaucracy involved is labyrinthine and I keep hearing conflicting things about the papers I need to present, along with frightening tales of students being refused visas because they didn't sort their paperwork out before arriving in the country. It's giving me anxiety whenever I think about it. I want to be able to focus on my PhD. Please pray that my appointment goes very smoothly and I get the visa without trouble. Thank you.
