Credo in Deum

We don't mess with Voris here.....Mods delete that whack ish...

I haven't seen this rule.  I personally do not mind, Voris.  He's no Ven. Fulton J. Sheen, but he does know his Catholic Faith, and he does tackle issues others want to sweep under the rug (Ha! That was a rug joke!).

Other than people claiming he's controversial, I have not seen or had anyone show me any good reason for why I shouldn't watch his stuff.

God Bless.

Not The Philosopher

The belief that certain people are mods is what gives them such powers over us in the first place. Josh has attained enlightenment and hence is free.

I can't tell how serious you are.  Do you really have a problem with Michael Voris?

He could be serious or he could be jokingly voicing his disapprove for Voris.  I think it's the latter of the two. ;)  Either way if the mod's do have a problem with Voris, it is probably because people usually get into uncharitable tiffs with each other about him.  If Josh has a problem with Voris, then that is between them.

I suppose that is the tl;dr version, but it does not do justice to the complexity of the question.  St. Paul spends three chapters (9,10,11) of Romans exploring the question and refers to it as a mystery.  I think there is a danger of over-simplifying this issue, sometimes to a point of introducing error.

I recommend a careful reading of the Scripture passage: http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Romans%209&version=NRSVCE

Please excuse me from doing so. I do not have confidence in my ability to explain this properly.  I have seen a lot of error taught on this subject and I really to not want to add to it.

I'd like to stick with the dogmatic, irrevocable teaching of Holy Mother Church, among other sources, here is what Pope Eugene IV stated in the Council of Florence's “Cantate Domino” of 1441, defining ex cathedra: â€œThe Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes and preaches that all those who are outside the Catholic Church, not only pagans but also Jews or heretics and schismatics, cannot share in eternal life and will go into the everlasting fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels, unless they are joined to the Church before the end of their lives; that the unity of this ecclesiastical body is of such importance that only for those who abide in it do the Church’s sacraments contribute to salvation and do fasts, almsgiving and other works of piety and practices of the Christian militia produce eternal rewards; and that nobody can be saved, no matter how much he has given away in alms and even if he has shed blood in the name of Christ, unless he has persevered in the bosom and unity of the Catholic Church.”

Mods are made-up, they're just stories that parents tell their kids at night to get them to behave. Kind of like the boogeyman or Keyser Soze.
