You'd hate New York. We don't like ego. Or boy bands.

David Letterman is your human mascot and his show iz like ego a$($). pshh :P  i used to indulge to extreme standards in the late show until i became a christian catholic. I own new yorks ghettos anyway, david letterman reps fame and fortune, that ain't where i'm at,am the other side of the thin line, no siree i'm at home with the poor geez and layz. Everyone vote for a return of unemployment benefits in the united states of america. Pay the thieves just enough for food, water, clothing, rent, electricity, phone/internet and transport while keeping it enough below minimum wage to deter people from actually wanting to be on it, than the thieves are less likely to commit crime and if they do they have less excuse for committing crimes while pleading poverty.

And the way you pay for it is by slapping a poor tax on those that earn more than the average national wage, or is that the mean? Or even a varying tax per state based on the average or mean wage for each state.

Also, NY sucks during the winter. The towns are so compact that there is really no place to put the snow. It just gets piled up onto the already super tiny streets. its quite irritating.

That's not to forget the fact that New York smells, period. Literally. One of my sister's friends went there and he said it was the worst smell he's ever had to endure.

I havent noticed a smell in the burbs, but in the city the whole place smells like either car exhaust, cigarettes, or garbage.

Also, NY smells of elderberries during the winter. The towns are so compact that there is really no place to put the snow. It just gets piled up onto the already super tiny streets. its quite irritating.

I still prefer to call New York,  New Amsterdam (Nieuw Amsterdam for the nitpickers).

Even old New York was once New Amsterdam. Why they changed it, I can't say; people just liked it better that way.
