AugustineA
What is the most effective approach in your personal experience to evangelization say with family vs friends vs acquaintances? I remember someone saying something somewhere about going and baptizing the nations.. And you know.. be not afraid. :P So, let's get some ideas going. Fidei Defensor
I was just thinking about this today, too. Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth. O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations, Through Christ Our Lord, Amen. AugustineA
In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti, Amen. Cool. Got any ideas? I have an Anglican friend who had a muslim colleague really confronting him on his faith, and I was able to help strengthen his faith in Christ by the Holy Spirit and point out the weakness of their criticisms. He's since made some comments that he's interested in Catholicism. I'm going to give him one of my rosaries soon. Do the old bait and baptize. I've been gently trying to witness to my coworkers over Easter. It's been a great opportunity because people want to know why I can't eat meat, or I got no sleep because of some "vigil" or suddenly I'm eating chocolate bars and popcorn at my desk haha (Easter Sunday), or what's the funny bracelet I wear. Some of them are starting to make good hearted comments about finding a Catholic girl and having lots of babies. But if it gets them thinking.. that's good.
