ChristinaTherese
Spring. The time of year when juniors in college honors programs start thinking about their honors projects.... Or maybe that's just my school. Anyway, I'm thinking about mine. I've got my readers, some books (loaned by my first reader, who I don't intend to actually be in the same city as again until January, since he technically retired and is now off hiking and I'm planning on studying abroad in the fall), my project (punctuation in Beowulf and the method or lack thereof).... My proposal hasn't been approved yet, though. Anyone else working on/have worked on an honors project, or am I the only masochist around? (Nah, I don't really mean that I'm a masochist. I'm quite looking forward to digging in over the summer and the rest of the year. That year starting now and possibly continuing for a month or two more than a year.) 4588686
Yes. You will work really hard on it and then you will watch countless friends' eyes glaze over whenever you try to bring it up.
ChristinaTherese
Well, most of my friends are in the honors program here too. So, we're in the same boat. (And there are much less eye-glazing ones. Like one friend wants to do the book and movie versions of The Hobbit.)
Archaeology cat
Beowulf! My kids (and my husband and I) love it. Kieran knows someone going to Denmark and asked if they were going to Heorot.
