Two Intentions

First, please pray for my cousin Samantha. She had a very complicated, serious surgery on her back this morning to work on some deteriorated discs and God knows what else. She has been in terrible pain for a long time now, and while she has a lot of rehab ahead of her, we're also praying this will put her back on the road to good health. She's an extremely upbeat 1st grade teacher with two kids at home, and this has been so tough on her. Surgery went well — please pray for a positive attitude and a full recovery. 

 

Also, I'm heading up to Long Island tonight with Brian. We'll be meeting with his school's housing office and the disabled student services office tomorrow morning to try to get a handicapped-accessible apartment on campus. I have a letter from my doctor which should hopefully help our cause, but there is still a chance we could be placed on a waiting list or denied. It's been really tough for us to find an appropriate place to start our married life together, so please pray the university staff are receptive and willing to work with us.
