CrossCuT
There is some buzz about the original director stating that he might be writing another Goonies movie...and Steven Spielberg has agreed to be a part of it. I love me some Goonies...but sequels are always killers. Oy oy.
KnightofChrist
I've been hearing about that for years, and years, and yes years. It will probably be a rebut if they do make another Goonies. I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel that was more based on the kids that the original kids have now.
CrossCuT
Hmm...If they did a plain reboot I think i could get behind that...but I dont know about a sequel with THEIR kids. Sounds odd to me KoC. ODD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
KnightofChrist
Hmm...If they did a plain reboot I think i could get behind that...but I dont know about a sequel with THEIR kids. Sounds odd to me KoC. ODD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think it would be bad if they tried to center a movie around the old actors the whole movie. It may work to have it start with the kids trying to go on the same kind of adventure as their parents did, then have the parents search behind them. It doesn't matter anyway it's never gonna happen. CrossCuT
I kinda hope it wont...it would just be weird whichever way they try to spin it. :crusader2:
KnightofChrist
Well now that you hope that it does't I think I have to hope that it does. :p But I always wanted to see a sequel or reboot of "The Explorers", which was one of the best sci-fi documentaries of all time (all good sci-fi movies are documentaries of future events or events that take place in parallel dimensions). I actually thought, as a kid, that it may be possible to have a dream, build a spaceship and then trek the universe.

CatherineM
Chub is a prominent Hollywood lawyer now, and I'm sure Josh Brolin and Sean Astin would blow the budget.
