Tonsil Stones

Yesterday, I had a lot of problems swallowing and I have been dry coughing quite a bit.  The coughing I thought was attributed to my GERD but that's been under control since I've started losing weight.  I used a flashlight and mirror last night on my throat and noticed that I have tonsil crypts and stones.  My mom had this problem previously and had to have her tonsils surgically removed in 2012.  I am scheduled to see my doctor for a physical next Friday so I'll ask her about it.  I cannot afford surgery, though, because I'm unemployed with no health insurance (I'm in a state that didn't expand Medicaid).  Please say some prayers that there is either a non-surgical option or that these stones go away through some miracle.  Thanks.
