HisChildForever
I get complimented on mine all the time. This is what it looks like: Very nice! I love the wood. I get compliments on mine too. I think because it's not your "standard" crucifix. This is mine (snagged this picture from Amazon): I use a much more feminine chain though lol. It's funny, Amazon listed this as "men's" but when I ordered mine (technically my parent's did for my birthday but I picked it out) it didn't say that. Maybe the men's version is larger...mine is pretty visible but not big.

Credo in Deum
I wear my brown scapular with a St. Benedict medal and small crucifix, daily. I was given a very nice St. Benedict Crucifix but I need to find a new cord for it. Edited April 19, 2014 by Credo in Deum

Didacus
I wear a rosary - so that counts as a crucifix right?
TheresaThoma
I usually wear a small gold cross. It was given to me by my dad at my baptism/confirmation (I went through RCIA). It means a lot to me. especially now that he is gone, I also wear a brown scapular under my shirt. However one of the babies somehow has figured out how to pull on it when I am holding him so it sometimes ends up outside of my shirt.
4LoveofJMJ
There should be a "Wear both" choice on the poll. I do wear both but I have more cross necklaces than I do crucifix necklaces from various friends and family. I was kinda finicky on when I felt that it was okay to wear a crucifix. I did not like wearing one during advent because we were celebrating his birth and by the time I got around to wearing one, it was lent. I did not want to wear one during lent because I felt that lent was about spending time with Jesus for the remainder of the time that he was with us. Not dwelling on the fact that he was going to die a horrible death on Good Friday. Thankfully I have learned a few things since then. :) I do want to wear my crucifix necklaces more though. One of these days I would love to get a pardon crucifix. This is the one that I wear the most. It was given to me when I completed a year of altar serving. It was supposed to be worn outside of the alb (correct spelling?) but no one did. Still love it. Right now I mostly wear a Miraculous medal, Scapular medal and a Divine Mercy/St. Maria Faustina medal that was touched to a bone relic of St. Maria Faustina. I also wear this necklace. I have never seen its like before or since. Edited April 21, 2014 by 4LoveofJMJ

BarbTherese
I used to wear a silver cross on a leather thong, but my director commented quite happily that I looked like a nun. I am very conscious that my vocation is definitely not religious life and a completely different vocation, so I decided to abandon the cross on the thong. But I still wanted to identify myself as Catholic Christian and so purchased a silver five way cross on a neck only adjustable chain along with a silver rosary bracelet with five way cross medal. This afternoon waiting for a bus, someone came up to me and asked for a few dollars for bus fare. So I am happy that I very possibly still identify/'advertise' as Catholic Christian and am grateful to The Lord that He gave me a 'sign' that I do still identify as Catholic Christian although definitely not any sort of religious sister nor nun. This little event has made me very happy. My five way cross, rosary bracelet and silver commitment ring will be blessed at my Home Mass for renewal and receiving of private vows in September. "Bethany" (residence) will be blessed at the same time. Father has also asked me to prepare a document that he can sign and date as having received my renewed perpetual private vows. Tab'le De'Bah-Rye
I wear a blessed black cross with an ancient latin blessing on it granted by an fssp priest. And i wear a brown scapular and am actually enrolled in it. And i have a st teresa of avila medal which i was gifted recently which had me to thinking perhaps i should become a lay carmelite because there is now a permanent carmelite priest in town now, and also i wear a miraculous medal which i also am enrolled into. If none of you are enrolled in either the scapular or miraculous medal and sport both have a looksy around for a priest that will enrol you church official into both, though of course there is merit and some kind of indulgence i'm sure in sporting one anyway with faith, hope and love. All Glory to God.
Cherie
Wish there was an option for "Sometimes." I don't usually wear necklaces right now (though I love to!) because my kids like to grab them, sometimes chew on them, and if they happened to break while doing so, it's a choking hazard. My kids are now at the age where the older two don't really pull/chew anymore and the newest one is too small to do that yet, but a necklace, especially a crucifix or medal, can scratch the baby when she's resting up against my chest so I just don't wear them that much right now. I have a few medals, crucifixes, and crosses that I wear for special occasions. I do try to wear my brown scapular daily, but it's MIA since I've been in the hospital for delivery.
