Didn't know where to post this because this is just a statement. So get this i have often thought about the passage where Jesus ays " i stand at the doorway of every heart and knock." And somone alerted to me that there is a debate in the charismatic circles as to whether the spirit comes down like rain or wells up like a spring. All this got me to thinking well Jesus lives inside us and calls out to the father or wells up and than the father calls out to the spirit and it rains. I had been thinking this for a while on and off again and tonight God gave me a natural example which kind of proves the holy trinity. 

 

Precipitation. The lake is kind of Jesus, The sun is kind of the Father and the Rain is the holy spirit. The sun charges the lake and the lake evaporates and creates clouds which than the heat of the sun causes it to rain.

 

Sorry i know not a perfect reflection of the most holy trinity but nor are we or the earth because there is no perfect reflection. But the father, son and holy spirit are kind of cyclical is what i'm getting at, The son cries out to the father and than the father sends the holy spirit.

 

All glory to GOD.

 

P.s. so it's really both welling and raining.

Wells up, I think, as "springs of living water." Teresa of Avila mentions something similar; she describes the Spirit's consolation as a well filling itself up from the bottom with "live" water rather than a cistern being filled from outside.
