AugustineA
http://www.cse.dmu.ac.uk/~mward/gkc/books/ All, or most, of his works online for free. If you like it, please buy his works; support the Chesterton society. If you've never heard of him, he's the great defender of the common and the common faith, arguably the greatest of the 20th century. He inspired C.S. Lewis and Ghandi among others, had no college education, and is surely one of the greatest writers of English prose. He was a journalist, art critic, novelist, and composed literally thousands of essays. 6'4, 300 lbs, and often found writing in train stations, I doubt we'll ever see his like again. Image for dramatic effect. :) Enjoy
SilentJoy
And he's gonna be canonized! And someday "Manalive: The Movie" will finally be made public! (Not sure which will happen first. :cry3: )
chrysostom
I like his stuff, but boy do I wish he'd had an editor more willing to prune...
BigJon16
He's my favorite. I currently own 43 Chesterton books, the largest collection of a single author in my whole "collection" of books.. I've only read about a quarter of them, though, but I hope to read more this summer. I especially love his poetry, Fr. Brown, Orthodoxy, and The Man Who Was Thursday. As someone who loves to write, he's been my greatest inspiration.
maximillion
I like what he says, but agree about the editing. His style does not suit me so well......
