Choosing Not To Receive Holy Communion

My wife hasn't gone to confession or communion for almost 10 years.  Once I asked her why and she stated " why go to communion when you have to keep confessing your sins all the time.  She refuses to go to confession and uses excuses such as I don't understand that priest because his English is not good, but when we go to a church where the priest speaks her language, she also gives excuses.
