chrysostom
It was a screw that helped hold the left lens in. The lens promptly came loose and fell clattering to the floor in front of Jesus. I retrieved the lens and grudgingly engaged in a little search for the tiny screw, praying an apology to God that I had to turn my head in many directions other than towards Him, and also asking St. Anthony for help. But the prayers did not avail for finding that bothered thing, and I felt incapable of carrying the search much further due to Holy God's presence. They say you should bring all your problems before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament...well, I never thought I would be bringing my perennial issues with glasses there too! AugustineA
Sounds like something a liturgical dancer would say... I hate those little screws lol. I wonder if people thought you were up to something lol.
MissyP89
Oh my gosh, I've been there more times than I can count. The best was when it fell out in my college apartment...I can't see a thing without my glasses...my roommate had to pick out my clothes for me and I had to call my mom so we could get it fixed... There was also the Thanksgiving where it fell out in my glass of orange juice.

Luckily I had contacts at the time so I wasn't left completely blind.
