PhuturePriest
Bahaha! That is the best thing I have ever been classified as. My day is made. No. Actually my life is. You get used to it after a while though, it's usually over in ten minutes. :smile2: That's nine shots per per minute. I know people who take fifteen minutes to get one shot, because they argue with the doctor and scream in agony the entire time. It makes no sense to me, really. I'm not saying needles tickle, but the way they act you'd think the doctor was about to shoot them with a gun. :P I don't know, maybe it's because my spiritual director says I'm really calm and "zen". :P

I honestly don't understand peoples fear of needles and shots. :whine: But I can't say much because I am afraid of pretty much everything else. :p Haha! I'm choleric and sanguine so I am way too excitable. ;)

I'm not a very easily frightened person, though, so maybe that's why I don't have a huge fear of needles. :P Oh, I'm a complete sanguine, actually. Every test I do on the four temperaments always unanimously concludes that I'm about as sanguine as they come. I'm a very excited and energetic person. I just don't get freaked out easily or anything like that. :P
EmilyAnn
I had alopecia due to iron deficiency about five years ago. I lost a good 40%...maybe 50% of my hair. I would wake up with hair all over my pillow, it came out in clumps in the shower, I wore braids constantly to avoid having hair falling out all over the back of my clothes. Luckily, iron supplements have helped, my hair is almost back to its previous thickness. I always had very very thick hair so I'm very grateful that because of that my hair wasn't too thin even with the hair loss...but it was still a very scary experience. (even though it really isn't!) When I first started to loose my hair they thought it was iron, and the doctor had me live on iron supplements. I still have really low iron but now they believe it is based upon stress and hormones. God blessed me with thick curls and ringlets, it is almost like His way of saying, "I'm going to give you this, but it won't be TOO much for you to handle." ;) Nice to know another person with alopecia though.
