Because being alone is lonely, depressing and unfulfilling, married life is the opposite I thought this thread was about premarital sex affecting marriage rates. I want to get married to be with and grow old with someone I love and share a little family with.

Norseman82
1. Because I'm amazeballs in love with this girl 2. She feels the same way for some reason 3. Her cooking skills are incredible. I seriously have dreams about some of the food she makes So, wanting a family is selfish, but marrying someone for her cooking skills isn't? Besides, it was God who said that it was not good for man to be alone, so if anything the Bible supports add's position.
add
Yep exactly. Add's reasons for marriage are mostly selfish, "I want a family" "I don't want to be alone" Semper, Each spouse in a marriage gives up some rights over his or her life in exchange for rights over the life of the other spouse. if you think that is selfish, you don't understand the concept. Semper Catholic
Although this feels like it's been taken off a pinterest board I see the point. With that said it should be "relationship" box not marriage box. If you get married without already knowing how much you're putting in or getting out you're going to have a bad time. Lilllabettt
My cousin got married in Nov. and then showed up in March on facebook using her maiden name and making out with some guy who wasn't her husband at the beginning of the year. My guess is somebody didn't know about the marriage box.
