Brother Adam
Let three people marry. Why does it matter to you? Family is the foundation of society. It's psychotic to think that changing it's fundamental structure doesn't effect anyone else. Obviously it does - children most of all. It is one thing to throw Christians in prison, fine them, take away their businesses, or shut down their charities because they disagree with your worldview. It's another thing to promote fatherless or motherless homes.

I know that's nitpicking, but it really bugs me. /endrant

Didacus
(snip) Sexual acts are one facet of love. (snip) But act of sex are not love themselves. To claim to a gay couple must indulge in sex because they love one another makes no more sense than a father and son requiring sex to embellish their relationship. Love is independent of sex and vice versa, although they may share a common ground in a relationship, this common ground is not a prerequisite for the relationship nor required to maintain it. CatholicsAreKewl
It's another thing to promote fatherless or motherless homes. I'm a bit confused because this sort of rhetoric isn't used when discussing the legality of divorce. We don't go around arguing about the negative effects of single parents raising children. Adding another person of the same sex into the equation can't be much worse. btw, I never hear people complain when two straight Daves adopt a kid. What's the difference between them and a gay couple? Sex? Edited March 5, 2014 by CatholicsAreKewl
Aloysius
... I'm beginning to think this thread isn't against heterosexuality at all; guess I can't post my "God hates straights" meme...

The kind of family you have is not the family one has in Morrocco. Family has already been changed and changes again and again.
