ChristinaTherese
What about eating it with graham crackers or something? I guess you can't refrigerate or freeze it or there wouldn't be a problem....
SilentJoy
I spent half an hour choosing a particular item in the store, and then I had to leave quickly or be late to an appointment, and EVERY checkout lane was suddenly crowded so I just put the item back. AnneLine
My husband keeps bringing home giant chunks of meat to cook (because they came with a coupon!).... and then he is sad when I fix giant chunks of meat when he wants bacon and eggs! maximillion
Buy two get one free wreaks havoc with my meal plan for the week, and occasionally, my budget.
BG45
(Truly a first world problem for this post.) I keep getting the chatty woman at the haircut place. My haircut takes 20 minutes longer because she can't speak and cut at the same time. (That said, she's actually the best one there if you have the time.) ---- I got a copy of the school paper's first of several editions of the Police Blotter for the week, because they like to space it out across several issues on super bad times like this one, and already saw three of my students who have ruined their future careers. :(

BG45
In the spirit of the thread, a first world problem: My job interview Monday still hasn't sent me an itinerary 5 days after the head of the search committee said the secretary would. Indeed :( They need to switch majors, period. What the heck is going on BG????? Saint Patrick's falls around the weekend of Spring Break, so the bars and beer distributors drastically slashed prices last weekend for the annual unofficial St. Patrick's for the university students. 400-1000 students rampaged across the streets near campus while drunk, plus extra people from out of town, etc. The student paper had a photographer whose car got jumped all over while he was in it and trying to drive near campus...there were a ton of assaults and at least one rape. The riot made the news apparently in Pittsburgh and Philly.
AnneLine
Oh. Or as the Original Star Trek watchers among us might say, "FESTIVAL!" Euck. (If any of you are curious about the rest of the episode, search youtube for 'star trek' and 'return of the archons'...) So don't you think it is time for the Town to stop blaming the students and lay down the law to the people providing the booze? Of is it just me???? That makes NO sense, and I'm not against people drinking, but obviously you put a bunch of overworked ready to party students in the room with untold amounts of beer, and isn't it kind of like yelling "FIRE" in a crowded theater? What did they THINK would happen? Edited March 12, 2014 by AnneLine
maximillion
I agree. We have an overloaded ER in almost very hospital caring for young drunks every weekend and it is considered a scourge, but this has only happened since we Brits brought in 24/7 licensing laws. Doh! Am I the only one who sees a correlation?
AnneLine
Maybe we see stuff the same?  :twitch: :nerd: Grrrrrrr.
AnneLine
My first world problem is a mouse whose scroll wheel is being diffficult. And a computer that is determined to print to a printer that is not in my house. THESE are serious problems, friends! :hehe2:
ChristinaTherese
The admissions office opens at 9 and I have a class that starts at 9. I need to get a form to someone in Admissions ASAP, so I'll have to be late to class.
AugustineA
Can't decide between graduate school or law school.. and I just touched my tongue (I dunno how?) after washing my face with this face wash, and now it has a funny tinging numb feeling. maximillion
I got up at 9.45 this morning. Now my whole day is derailed. But it is sunny.
