Phd, Visa, Important Meeting

I have an important meeting coming up with my PhD supervisors. My primary supervisor is leaving (pray for her in her new job - she's been marvellous as a supervisor and I wish her all the best) and a new one is taking over, whom I barely know. It's an unusual time to have a change, as I'm poised to set off to the Holy Land for a year's fieldwork in about a month. I'd feel better about heading overseas if I knew my supervisor well, but in spite of the nerves I have a feeling that it's all going to be OK. :) Please pray that the meeting is productive and helps me to feel even better about things.

 

Please also pray for the field research itself. To say that I am nervous is an understatement. I am not prepared and I need to get prepared. Finally, I need prayers for my visa arrangements to go smoothly. It can be a very complicated bureaucratic process. I have applied for a visiting scholarship that would simplify the whole process and, God willing, I'll get one. :pray:
