EmilyAnn
Franny and others, I'm interested to know what you think about this article? http://aqueercalling.com/2014/09/24/overcoming-oppression-and-the-challenge-of-being-yourself/ The notion raised there of not fitting into a 'narrative' is one that definitely resonates with me. For a long time I did (and sometimes still do) struggle my sexuality because my faith compels my behaviour and as such have never felt that a relationship of any kind with another woman was an option - does that make me "less" bisexual, does it invalidate my attractions? I'm in a long-term relationship with a man and we plan to get married, I've only ever been in the one relationship. I struggle with the fact that I identify as bisexual but not with the usual narrative that goes along. I do have some other thoughts that I'll post those later.
