maximillion
My indoor hyacinths are going over. I will miss them and their wonderful perfume.
Comingback
I have another sinus infection and the "wonder nose spray" that will supposedly help it is $100.00.
maximillion
Yikes! That is costly. I don't suppose saline water helps any. I know peeps who have used it to good effect. I am so fortunate to live somewhere meds don't cost a whole lot.......
Comingback
I've tried the saline but it did not help. I cannot take Prednisone, which would supposedly help, so the spray is in lieu of that. When I take Prednisone, I do things like paint the entire house and don't sleep for about a week
maximillion
Take the Prednisone, and come over here for a week. I could do with a hand, the flat needs painting and the clutter needs sorting.

One of those double sided sponges would be good.
ChristinaTherese
Another grievance from me: Being sick and not having the world stop and my mother nurse me back to health as if I'm a little girl. No, I just have to walk down the hill to class this afternoon, cook and wash my dishes like normal, and deal with the fact that I have a good bit more on my plate than normal because I've had to ask for extra time on one homework, got a new piece in orchestra and only a week before the concert because our pianist had some sort of problem and we can't play the concerto without her, and will have to ask for extra time on another homework because I was so busy yesterday (the day I came down sick but thought I was just exhausted from a busy day) and slept in this morning that I was quite unable to complete the homework due this afternoon. I'll try on that last one, though. But I'll have to work over the weekend on all of this extra stuff.... And all I want to do is curl up and alternately read and sleep. And maybe do a little embroidery if I want and can.
ChristinaTherese
Not a grievance: I have one homework assignment to make up this weekend, but thankfully not two. I got the other one done before class. (I mean, I only read about half of the assigned reading, but I got the assignment done. Except for one question that I think might have been there but I certainly forgot about, and therefore I don't care about.)
Spem in alium
Grievance: my parents (who have been superbly coerced by two of my younger siblings) have decided to throw out my study desk. I have NO idea why, but they claim I don't use it... So I now have to find a new place for all my papers, books, etc. They want me to throw out everything, but I have so many sentimental items that I have no idea where to start. Going to miss my desk... Though I did convince them to let me move my drawers into my room, so I now have a beside table rather than a chair to hold my books (yay! :winner: )

Nihil Obstat
Nihil, do you dilute the vinegar or serve it straight up, then rinse? :) About 50/50 white vinegar-water should do it.
maximillion
One wonderbag is not enough! I love love love it! Now I need another for the dessert ration.
