I have no issue with moving the thread to Raising Small Humans. But then denying me access to my own thread (Even when I asked if I could just go there and to no other threads) was a little bit ridiculous, in my biased opinion. :P

Well kid, hurry up and get old.

mature content is a bit of a gray area for us... personally I always valued the fact that I was able to discuss things related to Catholic sexual morality on phatmass in a good deal of detail when I was underage (between the ages of 15 and 18)... as I had been accidentally let into the back alley since dUSt thought I was older based on my avatar lol.  if they're on the internet, they're going to find out about all these kinds of things, having a Catholic perspective on them is extremely helpful.  of course, there are parents who want to shelter their children more from that, and that is their decision to make, so it'd be bad of us to really allow so much detail when a parental unit might be actually monitoring their child's internet use and treating phatmass as a safe place they don't have to worry about, ie we'd be subverting their intentions by flying in under the radar as a Catholic site.

but yeah, underage people need a little bit of nannying from time to time, so while I wouldn't have moved that thread, your complaint also doesn't really rise to the level of me caring toooo much :P sorry lol.  but ultimately we've usually struck the balance of allowing discussions of mature topics as long as they're done in mature ways and not too explicitly.  but that's always going to be a fine line, we do need to make sure phatmass is a safe place for people who are underage.

I might not have minded the fact I wasn't allowed to go in so much if the171 hadn't made a thread in Open Mic that was put into Raising Small Humans, and then she was allowed to continue going on her thread, even though she's my age.

I actually have no idea what's going on. I just was responding to the use of my name.

It all started with a joke by the masterful and spotless Winchester, and then it went into a huge drama, and then now we're discussing issues with recent moderating actions. :P
