Working On The Older Adults' Ward Again

Thank you for praying for me as I took on my first shift on the older adults' psychiatric ward. It was pretty challenging but at the end of the day a nurse gave me a hug and told me I'd done a good job! I'm going back again tomorrow and it looks as though I will have regular assignments here now. I would really appreciate prayers as I get to know the patients and staff better. In particular, please pray for a woman who seems to be very distressed most of the time but who doesn't have any coherent speech to explain what hurts; for another lady who is very old and anxious and kept telling me that she wants to go to the Lord; for a man who is extremely paranoid and hostile to everyone at the minute; and another man who may be moving out of the hospital and into a much nicer supported living arrangement. Please ask God to bless the team as they try to cope with the understaffing, especially the nurses.
