PhuturePriest
Prince Charles does as well. I've often wondered if Prince Charles sometimes questions if he'll die before Queen Elizabeth does.

Nihil Obstat
Orrrr, it could be a sign that kilts are cool in some aspects of British culture.

I do not see what the problem is here. :|
PhuturePriest
no just sayin' engrish people wearing scottish stuff aint necessarily a gesture of love and affection if you know what i mean Seeing as how there is now Scottish blood in the Royal Family, I doubt they harbor deep hatred for the Scottish and want to show them who's boss. As I said, King George VI and Queen Victoria (His wife) were avid fans of Scotland. Queen Victoria said it was her favorite place on earth, in fact. Norseman82
Sorry, I can't advise you regarding your specific question, but I do recommend (and sincerely hope and pray) that you wear underwear. Or, as Latin scholars would say, "Semper ubi sub ubi" Edited February 17, 2014 by Norseman82

As I said, King George VI and Queen Victoria (His wife) were avid fans of Scotland. Queen Victoria said it was her favorite place on earth, in fact. Just FYI. Queen Victoria was married to Prince Albert. King George VI was married to Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother. Queen Victoria DID say that Balmoral, Scotland was her favorite place on Earth. Although I agree that the British Royal Family appears to have no hatred for the Scots, all of the English may not agree with them, and certainly there is still a group of Scots (no clue how large a group, but more than a few) who hate the English and are still in favor of independence for Scotland, despite Scotland getting its own Parliament, limited in its powers. IgnatiusofLoyola
I'm doing swing dancing for this routine. However, men don't really do a lot of crazy stuff in any sort of dancing. They're generally leading and initiating, and the girls are doing most of the physical work. Thus far, I'm not doing anything that will make my kilt fly up in the air. I am doing lots of spins and cool things like that, but no high kicks in the air or anything. Yes, but if you dance with his man, as the shorter partner, it is likely that the other guy will be leading and you will be dancing the woman's part. Perhaps the two of you may want to skip swing dancing, since the parts for the man and woman are so different. Or if you do swing dancing, the kilt may not be a good idea, especially if you end up with the woman's part.
