Winchester
I totally misread this as the OP saying she ate her friends before Mass.

PhuturePriest
I forgot and ate my friends 30 minutes before receiving communion . Am I in mortal sin?????? Unfortunately, you are in uber-ultra-mortal sin. This is the one sin that cannot be forgiven in confession, even by the Pope. If you ask Pope Francis, he might make a deal with God to give you the most comfortable spot in hell, though.

Makes no sense to me. After all, you eat the body and drink the blood of Jesus during Communion. What's a little cannibalism among friends? Edited February 15, 2014 by IgnatiusofLoyola

cmaD2006
also, if a post of mine is deleted, it would be nice to at least have a heads-up :pinch: what post? I don't see evidence of it. We moved stuff around on the "Is this controvertial" thread, so if it was in there look in Debate table.

It was almost exactly what Winchester posted. And if you delete a post there is evidence it was deleted (for mods). NotreDame
It USED to be that you had to fast from midnight until you attended mass. I bet early morning masses were more crowded. :) Actually, somebody told me the early morning masses were all they had for a while. Would be interesting if somebody here knew the history on this. (maybe I'm just pulling that out of my arse, I don't know)
