That is because back then they were still part of normal clothing, for a subset of people.

I've never worn a bowtie. Bill Nye has inspired me to try one out.

Get a good quality one. They are much easier to tie than cheap ones.

The shock value is what's so great about it.

I have my doubts that your legs are beefy enough to pull off a kilt.

You will end up looking like this:

Stop.  Right now.

I'm already going to order it. It's all planned and done. I'm also thinking of buying a thobe and keffiyeh. I'm tan enough to make people stop and think if I'm actually a Saudi or not, which would truly be hysterical here in the Bible Belt. The reactions I've already gotten wearing my shemagh have been golden.

My legs are probably skinnier than that.

You probably should not buy a kilt until you have had a few more leg days. :|

Don't worry; I fully intend to shave my legs before wearing it.

I'd love to go in-depth as to why Ken Ham's arguments are so terrible, so I'm excited! :P

To sum: "Goddidit" is not a sufficient explanation for the origins of the universe.

Or the negaverse.
