Thy Geekdom Come
I just heard this. Eternal Rest grant unto him, O Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace in the Name of Christ, Our Lord. In Nomine Patris, et Fili, et Spiritus Sancti. Amen.
Thy Geekdom Come
In case no one knows, if you have a flag that can go to half mast, this is a proper time to do so. If not, the accepted practice for a nation in mourning is to hang a flag with a black sash hanging from the top.

Mickey's_Girl
Sigh. I know his family is sadder than I am (many prayers going their way), but I have to say this is a milestone for me. Reagan's era was so important historically, and it was a major time of development in my life. I first became really aware of the world around me while he was president. I'm glad in recent years his contributions have been more appreciated. Blessings on him and his family. MG

Iacobus
Micah I know this will shock you but I am saddened as well. Regan and Carter together ended the Cold War and to both is due. Of all the GOP pres in the last 50 years I respect Regan the 2nd most. After Ike. And correction to you, it is half staff. Masts are only found on boats. Staffs are flag poles on terra frima. God bless R.R.

popestpiusx
Requiescat in Pace. Rex tremendae majestatis, qui salvandos salvas gratis, salva me, fons pietatis. Recordare Jesu pie, quod sum causa tuae viae, ne me perdas illa die. Quaerens me sedisti lassus, redemisti crucem passus, tantus labor non sit cassus. Juste judex ultionis, donum fac remissionis ante diem rationis. Ingemisco tanquam reus, culpa rubet vultus meus, supplicanti parce, Deus. Confutatis maledictis, flammis acribus addictis, voca me cum benedictis. Oro supplex et acclinis, cor contritum quasi cinis, gere curam mei finis. Lacrimosa dies illa, qua resurget ex favilla judicandus homo reus - Huic ergo parce, Deus. Pie Jesu Domine, dona eis requiem. Amen.

Ash Wednesday
I saw a pic on the news that someone left some jelly beans at his library at a memorial there, and it actually made me cry!
