Semper Catholic
Apparently the Europeans knew what to expect, Knox did not:As soon as Kercher's corpse was discovered, the two Italian roommates called their lawyers. Kercher's British friends were even more cautious: Most of them fled the country, returning to the U.K. Edda asked Knox to fly home, or visit her cousin in Germany, but Knox refused. She wanted to see Kercher's family when they arrived in Perugia. She also wanted to help investigators find the killer. Help find the killer/accuse a black guy of the crime. Same thing for the most part. I don't believe Knox is guilty but I doubt her innocence.
Basilisa Marie
I mean, how many regular American young people are ignorant of what to do in the face of our own justice system, let alone a European one? Regardless of whether or not she was involved, I think it's clear that she had no idea how to handle their system.

Not only ignorant of the justice system, but she had only been in Italy 5 weeks, so her Italian had to be horrible.
Aloysius
I doubt her innocence a bit myself, but I don't believe in her guilt beyond a reasonable doubt, which is why I think she should not be found guilty unless substantially more evidence is produced. blazeingstar
It seems to me that she knows alot more than she's letting on, even now. Did she kill? It dosn't seem likely...but it seems like there's a ton more to the story. Her life is more or less ruined at this point, so I don't think that she really has much of a life if she remains in the US or goes to prison. Italy is responsible for this and this second verdict is kinda crazy. They never should of let her go and I think they need to live with that mistake.
