ChristinaTherese
Today was interesting. After Mass I tried to clean some gum out of the hymnal rack in the pew I was in with my knife and failed, but then I cut my finger as i was closing the knife after I washed it. (I barely nicked the fingertip. So I went to the sacristy and asked Father if he had band-aids. Not in the sacristy, so he took me to the rectory and got me cleaned up. (Probably good, I wouldn't have necessarily disinfected things if I'd been left to my own devices, and it wasn't necessarily a clean knife AND had just been trying to pry off some gum. So... disinfectants were probably very good.) Then I went and had an adventure following a book I found, Seattle Stairway Walks, a trail guide type of book except in the city. The staircases the connect things are possibly the coolest areas in the city. And I went into a gorge, and bought lunch while I was out, and called my mother (I think my father was listening a bit too, but he didn't say much) and generally had a great time. Then I got back and had fun cooking dinner. Other than the fact that I didn't get a decent night's sleep and I've been kind of dragging this afternoon after I got back from the walk, it's been a good day. (Oh, and I went to Confession this morning. That alone would make it a good day.)
