PadrePioOfPietrelcino
Ok, so my sister is pregnant with child #6. They are struggling with finding names for the Boy/Girl which will be joining our family, who wants to help me with some suggestions to them. First name already taken.. Boys: Isaac Jude Noah Abraham Girls: Azaria My sister and her husband want a Biblical related name, or maybe well known Christian history, early martyr ect., They don't mind working with a name to make a masculine name pretty and feminine, but they don't want common...Aiden and Jacob for example are out because they are too popular right now. So 1)Biblical/Christian, even a Hebrew or Greek word which can be made into a good name. 2) unique to our current world, but not to unusual 3) They are struggling the MOST with Girls names. So...who wants to help name a Baby?
cartermia
Benedict if a boy and Scholatisca if a girl.
ChristinaTherese
Hm.... (You could take a look at the religious names thread in VS. :p ) Girls: Talitha (from the passage in one of the gospels where Jesus heals/resurrects a girl and says "talitha cum". Agnes (because she's virgin martyr) Clare or Colette (because they're awesome saints) Maria/Marie/Mary (because I don't care if it's relatively common, naming a daughter after Our Lady is nice) Kateri Teresa/Theresa/Therese Boys: Francis (same reason as Clare and Colette, not to mention Pope Francis) Joseph Samuel Elijah Joshua David Daniel One that would work either way: John/Joan/Jeanne

I was about to say, a good name for a boy would be Fulton, but that's probably too Catholic. :P
beatitude
Talitha is a beautiful biblical name for a girl. Also from the New Testament are Persis (a woman commended by Paul for her hard work) and Junia (a woman who was imprisoned for her faith, also acknowledged by St Paul). I am not too sure about these names myself, but if the parents want something biblical and unusual, these certainly qualify. :P
Kateri89
If its a girl, Denise. If its a boy, Denephew. :lol3: I fully support these name choices

Luigi
Lydia -"The dyer of purple" mention by Paul. It's pretty, it sounds American, a little old-fashioned, and her nickname would be Liddie. Liddie PadrePioOfPietrelcino has a nice ring to it, don't you think? Oh wait - your sister's married so she wouldn't have your last name, would she? Veronica - who wiped the face of Jesus on the Way of the Cross. Monica - the mother of St. Augustine, who prayed his sorry ashcan into holiness. Angel (English) - Angela (Italian) meaning 'angel' or Angelica (Italian) - Angelique (French) meaning 'angelic' More to follow IF more inspiration follows. In that case: Girl: Samantha Elizabeth Margaret Rose Boy: Andrew Henry Gabriel Christian Zechariah or Zachary Isaiah Samuel
