Norseman82
Wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning, or did Winchester hack your account? And don't use wire hangers.......

CatherineM
The test gets you into school. Your gpa and college will only get you your first job, after that, your life is in your own hands. Getting into seminary is hard, but they want to keep you once you do. I have to maintain a 3.20 gpa to stay in school. The seminarians that sit next to me only have to maintain a 1.90. They just demand I get a 24 because I'm homeschooled. All the rest of the guys just need to get something like a 20. And, as you say, once you're in, they won't let you go because you find the studies difficult. Everyone from the professors to your brother seminarians give you any help you need. As one seminarian told me: "The diocese wants smart priests, but if it had to choose, it would choose holy priests over smart ones."

PhuturePriest
Its weird that the requirements for a homeschooling are higher. I think it's because I won't have a state-accredited diploma. Still, I don't see why that means I have to be smarter than the other guys, but whatever. I like rising to a challenge. CatherineM
It's probably because they have to take two to three times as many classes at the same time. I'm only studying for two tests and writing two term papers. They are doing 5 or 6 of each. Doesn't help either that for about half of them English isn't their native tongue.
