Comingback
She got through it pretty well. Her gallbladder was in bad shape and 2 stones were partially blocking her common bile duct, so the surgery was more extensive than they thought, but they did not have to do the "big" surgery and could use laparoscopes and lasers. She was admitted to the hospital (they had hoped it could be day surgery if it was not complicated) because she is not able to maintain her oxygen levels without being on supplemental oxygen. They think this is because she is 84 and it is just taking longer for her system to clear out the anesthesia. She was very alert, but in a lot of pain. Thank you for praying for her and for me as I drove up there this AM. It is amazing how many people are on the road at 5am. Hoping that I won't be one of them again any time soon.
