Kylie Spinelli
I was enrolled in the Brown Scapular way back in July of 2011, and today my priest invested me in the Blue Scapular of the Immaculate Conception. I am now a member of both confraternities. May I sew the blue scapular to the brown scapular so that I don't have as many strings around my neck? Thank you! TheLordsSouljah
Pretty sure you can. I'm only enrolled in the brown scapular, but I was recently given a single scapular with FIVE pieces on it! brown, red, white, green and blue. It is connected by simply one string. Alternatively, you could sew the two strings together as well :)
Kylie Spinelli
Yes; my friend has the five-gold scapular. But can I cut the strings off the scapular? If I get the chance I will ask Fr. Today...
reminiscere
You only need one set of strings. May I suggest the 5 fold Scapular which includes the Brown and Blue Scapulars you have already? You can't go wrong, you have all the graces of 3 extra Scapulars and only 1 set of strings :)
