Ancilla Domini
So, some of you, I know, have heard of this crusade from my signature, but I tell you what it is, in a post. A friend and I have started a Rosary Crusade for the intention of the consolation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. We are hoping to get 1,000,000 rosaries said for this intention. We picked this intention because Our Lady asked us to meditate on her sorrows, and to console her. She said to St. Gertrude: "I look around upon all who are in the world, if perchance there may be any to pity me, and meditate upon my sorrows, and truly I find very few. Therefore, my daughter, though I am forgotten by many, at least do not you forget me; behold my anguish, and imitate, as far as you can, my grief." There's my mini-description. If you have any questions, ask away! www.rosecrownsforourlady.wordpress.com – Cilla P.S. We have 14,723 so far. :) Edited January 11, 2014 by Ancilla Domini

Comingback
I would like to participate in this, but I have to ask why. Please remember, I have been away from the church for many years. I do not understand the concepts of "reparation" and "consolation." This is in no way saying that these are not true; it is just saying that I do not understand them. I would imagine that Mary would need consolation because our world is in such a mess and it might seem that all that she suffered and Jesus suffered is kind of being ignored. Am I in the ballpark with this? Again, if my words or the way I have phrased them are not correct or are offensive in any way, I'm sorry. I'm just trying to understand. And I am saying a rosary... This is exactly it. :) It's actually explained quite well, here, if you'd like to look: http://www.catholickingdom.com/Cathedral/Mary/her_sorrows/04_Mary%27s_sufferings.html
