Nihil Obstat
Give me a man's drink - Wodka! But it has to be drunk the Russian way. 40 proof, chilled in the freezer before drinking, use a long shot glass and don't fill it all the way to the top but close. Take a shot, then eat something, repeat. Never add anything to the vodka! I sort of have trouble considering vodka 'hard liquor' at only 40 proof. I have had beer with only slightly less ABV. :|
xTrishaxLynnx
I think I'd have to go with an Amaretto Sour.
cruciatacara
I feel sorry for the many taste buds that have died on your crazed and psychopathic conquest. Your youth and inexperience are showing. :) I sort of have trouble considering vodka 'hard liquor' at only 40 proof. I have had beer with only slightly less ABV. :| Spoken like a true manly man! My taste for vodka came after reading a book by a Russian who had come to Australia during the Cold War years. He wrote about how hard life was in the USSR but then he also wrote about his nostalgia for certain Russian things, especially vodka and how they drink it over there - more as an anti-freeze I think than an attempt to get drunk! Apart from the vodka, I love a straight Scotch with a water chaser. I'm not in it for the alcohol so much as the taste. I hate gin and bourbon and brandy - the tastes repulse me. I have had gin and tonic with a twist that was bearable on a really hot day. Edited January 12, 2014 by cruciatacara
