I was surprised to hear how many dioceses cancelled the trip. That was irresponsible. I was asked if I wanted to cancel for our diocese. That is crazy. Even though they got 8-10" of snow the highways and most roads were clear by the time we pulled into DC. It wasn't a problem at all. The armory, which was sold out, was only 1/2 full if that gives you an idea of how many people cancelled the trip.

I think a lot of it was that the bus companies chickened out. I heard that Christendom wanted to go, but the bus companies refused, or something like that.
