CrossCuT
I as well, in layman's terms I had a hole in my heart. I'm told now they can fix the same problem with leaving one without a zipper chest. But oh well I rather like mine, I call it my battle scar when people ask about it. Anyway I pray your brother will continue to be bless with good health and a strong heart. Ah yes! That usually occurs as a result of the hole not closing at birth. All wee babes have the hole there while we are in our mothers womb. The reason it is there is because we dont utilize our lungs so the blood does not need to be pumped separately so instead, it just passes between to two sides of the heart. However, when the baby takes its FIRST breath, that hole is suppose to close as the lungs are now required. Sometimes the hole doesnt close though. They can pretty easily fix that now from what I understand. Im glad Father Brian is doing better though! :)

What's crazy is that I had both a hole and something like a blockage known as Pulmonary Stenosis. Which just was a fusing of the leaflets in the pulmonary valve. Which makes it harder for the blood to flow from the heart to the lungs. Anyway, thank you and everyone else for their prayers for Father Brian. I do not even really know him, outside of the internet, but he is a priest, and I care for all priests very much. O Lord grant us holy priests! O Lord grant us many holy priests!
