The Only Modest Swimwear

I wear something similar to swim, and I look awesome and not ridiculous in the least, thank you very much.

Any man who wishes to comment on my choice of swimwear can fill out a form and I will place it in my circular file.

If I remember correctly, swim suits for girls in the old days used to be big, baggy, and made of wool. I haven't seen any research on it, but I think it's safe to say female drownings and overall swimming level performances improved after they changed to more reasonable styles and fabrics.

It's winter. Where I live I WALK on water, not swim in it. (The water is frozen.)

Lately, my "swimwear" has consisted of snow boots, two layers of pants, several layers on top covered by a long thick coat that goes past my knees. I wear this along with gloves and a hat. A scarf covers most of my face.

I am so modest I make a burkha look revealing.

If I'm lucky it may be up to 10 degrees today. Still, I have no worries that my outdoor gear will inspire any lustful thoughts in men I meet. Gotta get out today so I can stock up on hand sanitizer.  ;)

While the hooded ones are a bit much the other ones simply look like surfing suits.

There are reasons professional surfers choose to cover their bodies, it's called the sun.  Our suncreens are second-rate at best, toxic at worse when compared to clothing.

My future kids won't be wearing mainstream bathing suits...not for modesty, but for skin care.  While my native American genes tan, my fiancee's the biggest white boy and basically implodes in the sun, so its wise to have far more clothing than is currently the norm.

In the future those women will be physically healthier, if they manage to not be psychologically damaged.

Modesty is good, forced modesty and shaming is bad.

It is a conceit of secular liberals that Muslim women who wear the hijab do so because they are forced to, or because they are ashamed of themselves.  They have never read the Quran, never set foot in a mosque, never spoken to a hijabi. But they know the meaning of the hijab.

In this country a woman's expression of religious devotion is not a good ruler by which to judge her self-confidence or independence.

The hoods are for religious purposes
