Oik
Hi, I am the "Grape Juice" poster. I did contact the parish and asked for the name of the Priest (because I haven't seen him say the Mass before. I did not say anything to anyone except asking my girlfriend about he experience. The Priest has been notified that I want to set up an appointment with him (although he wasn't informed as to why, as I didn't let on the his secretary of this possible occurance). I plan on asking him about the suspected grape juice. How do I go about this without being hostile or rude, etc.
cappie
Simply say to him that when you received Communion you thought it was grape juice and thought you may have been mistaken could he put your mind at rest. If he confirms your original thought that it was grape juice pure and simple then suggest to him that he is mistaken to use it. If he dismisses you then take it up with the Bishop. Don't forget to speak with respect and charity agressiveness gets you nowhere and is not the way Jesus acts. It is up to the Bishop to act.
