PhuturePriest
If the Vlog Brothers are the ones who make musicals like Procrastination The Musical on Youtube, they're great. However, the trailer of that movie made me a bit annoyed by suggesting a sex scene and I rarely watch movies anyway, so I'm not at all excited about it. However, I am looking forward to reading and discussing the book, because what I've read of it looked good. TPBM is a musician/singer. There's a sex scene in the movie because they have sex in the book. It's not explicitly written, but they do have sex. Indeed, I am. The person below me thinks action stars are cool. Tab'le De'Bah-Rye
Nope. But i do think muscles and fitness are cool. TPBM Knows only enough to stay out of trouble. But has an I.Q score of over 100 :) Edited January 31, 2014 by Tab'le De'Bah-Rye
Oremoose
I would say yes but i have no idea what my IQ is. TPBM Will join my Phat mass D&D league (if I ever start one)
Tab'le De'Bah-Rye
I'm dateless but not that desperate anymore, i was for 3 or so years though, over it now. If it was just a dateless group without the desperate than yes, but D&D no. TPBM lives in an itty bitty city of between 150,000 and 500,000 people with a slow to moderate growth rate and therefore has kept the country heart mainly. ChristinaTherese
Oremoose, D&D is fun! Would you be thinking of starting an online group? How would that work? And if you're thinking of doing that and want to put in the effort, maybe you should start a thread? I haven't played much, but I'd be interested to join. Tab, I have no solid knowledge of the population of my city. But it isn't small.... I do enjoy woods and mountains and trees and such more than the city though. (I was glad to find a book of walks around the city that are more out of the way in a bookstore looking just like a trail guide book. I can't get out to go hiking too easily, so it was wonderful.) TPBM thinks that D&D (Dungeons and Dragons, it's a role playing game that you play as a team) is fun or at least worth a try.
Tab'le De'Bah-Rye
Never played it but will give it a go. LOL i thought D&D was a desperate and dateless ball thingy. TPBM will give D&D a go if the thread starts.
AnneLine
Oh boy. Missed this a few decades back, but sure, I'd give it a whirl if someone tells me how to play. After all, :brutebeast: is ME! ChristinaTherese
:nun2: (I'm a nunnabe, and I find some amusement that is liken to myself in Maria from The Sound of Music. Just that she can't stop singing and moving gaily.) TPBM likes the older definition of "gay", meaning happy, better than the modern abuse of the word, meaning SSA. PhuturePriest
I don't like the new term simply because it implies you're happy and flamboyant simply by being gay (Which is where the new term originated). The person below me thinks Franciscan needs to have a few more majors.

PhuturePriest
Why would you get your throat blessed? The person below me wants to give me an explanation to the above question.
SilentJoy
Feast of St. Blaise. The priest was s'posed to hold blessed candles near your throat to protect against throat disorders and all other evils. On Sunday, the visiting priest said, "Well I don't have any candles so here's just a general blessing for anyone who wants their throat blessed." After church a funny old lady came up to me and said "What was THAT supposed to be???" Today the priest at morning Mass had some genuine candles and offered to give the blessing to those who wanted to come up for it. The person below me didn't know that, either. Ancilla Domini
Why would you get your throat blessed? The person below me wants to give me an explanation to the above question. It is customary to have your throat blessed on the feast of St. Blaise because, according to legend, before he died, St. Blaise healed a boy who was choking. The person below me HATES performing in front of audiences!
