No one who worships a God that permitted Himself to be nailed to a tree by half wit centurions has any room to call others cuckoo.

As one priest once said, sometimes you have to call a spade a spade...

Ash Wednesday

He's not cuckoo, he knows exactly what he's doing. He doesn't really care about Festivus per se, he's doing it to mock religion, and the capitol fell for it. As comical as Festivus is, it's not really a recognized religion, and I don't understand is why the Florida capitol determined it as such. But they did, hence I'm not sure what could be done about it. Maybe the powers that be thought it was funny. The government is kind of a joke, anyway.

In short: atheists can be just as big of zealous tools as everyone else.

nothing in festivus...even the Sienfield version had anything to do with white trash beer cans.  I say that the state find an old flagpole and put up a 6 foot pole.  Allowing this ding-dong to put up his display...which pushing the limits of a TV show joke...is  a bit much.

I admit I find an aluminium pole, especially one made out of beer cans kinda sad...although the wrestling part sounds like fun. :p
