Advent Music--o Come, O Come Emmanuel

This morning I came across a new version of one of my favorite hymns--O Come, O Come Emmanuel, performed by a pianist and cellist. This version is beautiful. Rather than embed the video (which I don't know how to do), here is the link. The video is posted on a Jesuit Web site sponsored by LoyolaPress--so you need have no fears about visiting an inappropriate Web site.

Enjoy! The music makes me feel very peaceful, and I expect I am going to be listening to it over and over. I hope that you enjoy it, too, as we wait together during Advent.

I apologize for making a new thread for this. I hadn't even noticed the music thread. Duh! I know better!

Still, I'm not going to kick myself too hard. It IS Advent, and this is a wonderful rendition of a traditional Advent hymn. In the music thread, it might have gotten "lost in the shuffle."

However, if I later find myself with music I want to post, I will post it in the music thread.

That was amazing! One of my favorite advent songs as well!
I hadn't heard the instrumental version, only in mass with many voices, still beautiful.... but this was very very nice! Loved it
