Are These Gorgeous, Or Are These Gorgeous?

For an autumn wedding I'd go with that deep red shade, either 101 (my favourite) or 100, but there's no reason why you couldn't wear the black one. It's a lovely style and I can see why you like it. With the right accessories that could look perfect.

I don't like the black one with the bright green trim. That colour scheme looks almost Hallowe'en-esque to me.

Yeah, I wound up not getting that green-trimmed one. I got these three:

Thoughts?

For a wedding I definitely prefer the deep red. I like the navy one with the silhouetted bird on it too, which does seem very autumnal. I'm not keen on the pale blue polka-dotted bird dress. It looks a bit too much like upholstery fabric to me.

Go with your instinct - I recently attended a close friend's wedding and had to choose between two nice dresses, with my mum advising me to get one while I preferred the other. I'm glad I went with my own judgment in the end (not least because tons of women turned up in dresses in the other colour and I would have dissolved into a sea of bright red!). And have lots of fun at the wedding. :)

Well, I have to decide between the three in post #108, because I got those. I'm still not sure which one I'll wear, yet, but it'll probably be the red one. Dark navy blue and black just don't seem to me to be suitable dresses fro an autumnal wedding. I could, I think, easily wear the navy blue one, because it's offset by the pink trim, and isn't too overbearingly dark, but black, I think is out of the question. It's not a funeral. :P (The black one seems to me to be a better opera/New Year's Eve Party/recital-concert dress than a dress for a wedding. But it all depends on how they look on me. We shall see! :)

Thanks for your input! I don't want to stand out TOO much, or wear something too dismal, so I thought I'd throw the question out here and see what people think. :)

They came! And they're all stunning on me. (If I say so myself...:P) Now...red for the wedding?
