Time Of Man Of The Year

I don't think Man of the Year is supposed to be "world's favoritist person" but the person who presumably had the greatest impact on the world, for better or worse. But I could be wrong.

That's it. Time wants us to believe that Pope Francis has had the worst impact on the world this year...

That is correct.

Past recipients have included Hitler and Stalin.

They are comparing the Pope to Hitler? That's enough Time.

For the second year in a row, a young American whistleblower alarmed at the unfettered and at times cynical deployment of power by the world's foremost superpower has been voted the Guardian's person of the year.

Now where did you come up with comparing the Pope to Hitler?  It was only pointed out that  the award was given to the person who had impact on the world, whether good (such as when given to Popes, and it was given also to John XXIII and John Paul II) or bad (when given to dictators).

I think Hitler received his accolade for turning around the German economy, prior to unleashing the Fuhrer fury onto the world.

I learned from you that they were both recipients of of the award.
