Ash Wednesday
Good for him. I really like our Pope. I get pretty irritated with the people that twist his words around, but he's a humble, sincere and holy man who has a special gift in getting the world to see the goodness in the Church. I listened to a Johnnette Benkovic podcast recently and one of the speakers said that a number of people have been returning to the Church and mass due to the "Pope Francis effect". Maybe not everyone is comfortable with his "attracting with honey" approach but sometimes that way of evangelizing is beneficial for those who don't entirely have the grace to understand the Church in full yet. At least it wasn't Miley! Edited December 13, 2013 by Ash Wednesday

PhuturePriest
Also, I'm not too sure this is a good thing. Who goes from deciding Obama is Person of the Year to Pope Francis? Time is incredibly liberal and supports things like abortion, so why on earth would they vote for a man who opposes things they hold dear?
