Sojourner
I've already gone to one, and have another one next weekend. I think that's it, though. Weddings are actually one of the things that got me started thinking about Catholicism more seriously ... I had started looking into the Theology of the Body briefly last summer, and thought it was kinda cool, and was learning all sorts of cool things about the Eucharist. Then, I went to two weddings two weeks in a row, both Protestant, and was impressed by the lack of depth and meaning in the ceremonies. I mean, of course they're meaningful in a sense -- it is two people promising their lives to one another, after all -- but they really just didn't delve into the spiritual side of marriage much. So yeah, I started thinking, "I want more in my wedding" and started pursuing Catholicism more seriously. And here I am today.

IcePrincessKRS
A total of 3, but I'm in one, Matt is in one, and I helped out with hair/makeup/reception photography for the third. lol
homeschoolmom
All of my friends are already married or are decidedly single. I can't see going to any weddings this year. As for the awful dresses... I have one from when I was a bridesmaid... it's polyester, shiny, Pepto-bismal pink, tea length... (I have the matching pumps)... It's upstairs in my closet... every once in awhile, I put it all on (including the jewelry) and come downstairs and parade around for my children. They think it's histerical. I have another dress (the one that I wore to the Wrinkled Aliens' Ball)... long black dress-- veeeeery nice....
Sojourner
I have hated all the dresses I've had to wear for weddings (a total of four now, each costing around $200. None of them ever fit right, and because they're formal dresses the manufacturers for some reason make the sizes WAY smaller than normal clothing. Don't even get me started on shoes. I will not be in any more friends' weddings because I think it's a scam, and if/when I get married, I'm letting my bridesmaids wear useful dresses, as in, they can all wear formal black dresses of their own choosing. It's ridiculous to have to pay $200 for a seafoam green dress that doesn't fit just so everyone looks all picture perfect. Ridiculous.

Luthien
I getting married, in the Church, with Eucahristic celebration. Jesus should be there! And He should be with me and my husband within us after the ceremony.

Thomas Michael
I was witness to three weddings (including my own) last year. (Today, by the way, is my one-year anniversary! yay!) I personally am not one to say "blech" to weddings, especially since they're a Sacrament in the Church. Now, if you wanna say "blech" to something, say it to the skimpy dress fashions. I mean, strapless, spaghetti-strap and other low-cut fashions are fine for country-club or outdoor weddings, but I personally feel that is inappropriate for a church wedding. Just because you're the bride or a bridesmaid doesn't mean you're exempt from the (supposedly general) rule of attending a church in modest attire.
