Discipulus Romae
Way to go! :winner: Yay! Ok here's mine: “The enemy? His sense of duty was no less than yours, I deem. You wonder what his name is, where he came from. And if he was really evil at heart. What lies or threats led him on this long march from home. If he would not rather have stayed there in peace. War will make corpses of us all.†-what character from which book?

XD But since I've never read the book, and therefore will not know the character, I'll let someone else get it. :))

Discipulus Romae
nope. I'll give you a subtle hint: There's this thing that this short guy has to throw into some far away place with his (also short)gardener. They meet a guy who has a multiple personality disorder and a love for sushi who guides them to the place they want to go.

Discipulus Romae
Not Olórin, but you have the right book; it is from the Lord of the Rings. (the whole thing is one book)
SilentJoy
Not Olórin, but you have the right book; it is from the Lord of the Rings. (the whole thing is one book) Its three books on my shelf. One story in three distinct paperbacks. Does that make one of us a heretic?
Not The Philosopher
Discipulus Romae is technically correct: LOTR is one long novel divided into six 'Books'. It was published in three separate volumes for practical reasons related to printing costs. Ironically in doing so it accidentally set the standard of SF/fantasy trilogies

Now I'm wondering why you didn't guess the book/character first?
