Ancilla Domini
Treasure Island is by far one of the worst books of all time, and I absolutely refuse to read it or be around people that are disillusioned enough to want to read it. I disagree - Robinson Crusoe is far worse. Edited January 8, 2014 by Ancilla Domini
Chrysophylax
I have read almost exactly half of those books listed! A Wrinkle in Time (Madeleine L'Engle) [ or ] A Wind in the Door (Madeleine L'Engle) [I have not read either, but I think the second can stand alone??] House of Gold (Bud Macfarlane) Banner in the Sky (James Ullman) All of these look great! AnneLine
REMINDER!!!! Today is the LAST DAY to vote in the 1st round of books for the February Book. So far it appears we may have a first place winner, but there could be a tie if there are more votes. If there are more votes, and we do get a tie, we'll have a tie-breaking vote between the semi-finalists... and if there STILL is a tie after that, IceNine will select the 1st book. Check back tomorrow to see what happens! :bible:
